Thalictrum pubescens
tall meadow-rue
Thalictrum pubescens, tall meadow-rue, produces clusters of small, delicate, white flowers in late spring to early summer. Growing up to 3-7 feet, it thrives in partial to full shade and well-drained, moist soil.
This plant is highly attractive to butterflies such as the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail due to its nectar-rich flowers. It also serves as a host plant for several species of moth, providing essential food and shelter for their caterpillars.
Plants can be purchased in-person or online (with in-person pick-up). All online orders will be ready for pick-up 24-72 hours after purchase. You will receive an email to let you know when your order is ready. We kindly ask that you pick-up any orders within one week of purchase.
