Plant information
Known as Dutchman’s breeches, these graceful white flowers are reminiscent of the cloth pants worn by men in the early centuries.
The early spring flower stems shoot up from lacey green-grey leaves that have an almost fern-like appearance. Suitable for moist woodland gardens, these unique plants would be best as background interest, as the foliage dies back in the hot summer months.
