Plant information

Much like it’s relative, Antennaria neglectaplantain pussytoes grows well in dry, rocky, sandy soil.

Antennaria plantaginifolia has wide soft leaves and gets its name from the soft white flowers that resemble cats’ paws.

Use this low maintenance plant as a lawn alternative in the harder to grow areas, and enjoy the drought and salt tolerant ease. Both bees and butterflies love Antennaria, and you will find some very happy buzzing happening each spring.

Larval host for American Painted Lady (Vanessa virginensis).
