Sericocarpus linifolius

Narrow-leaf white-top aster

This graceful aster blooms late in the season with soft white flowers held above fine-textured foliage. It thrives in sunny, dry to medium soils and blends easily into meadow-style plantings.

Late-season bees and butterflies rely on its nectar, while birds forage on seeds in fall and winter. It’s an excellent way to extend floral resources into autumn.
