Plant information:

Stiff aster is a long-blooming, small aster perfect for the native rock garden. When planted in a group, these are spectaular.  The stiff needle-like foliage is highlighted by the small 1 inch purple flowers with yellow centers.

 

Ionactis linariifolia reaches a height of 15-20". Thrives in average to  dry soils in full sun. Prefers acidic, sandy soils.
