Pycnanthemum virginianum, Virginia mountain mint, is a herbaceous perennial plant that produces dense clusters of small, white flowers in mid to late summer. It grows up to 3 feet tall and thrives in full sun to partial shade. This plant prefers well-drained soil and is tolerant of dry conditions.
Virginia mountain mint is known to attract a variety of pollinators, including solitary bees, bumblebees, and butterflies. Additionally, it serves as a host plant for caterpillars of the Hermit Sphinx Moth.
Plants can be purchased in-person or online (with in-person pick-up).
