American mountain mint has densely fuzzy leaves and stems and is easy to care for once established. It can be aggressive in the right settings so slect accordingly. When you brush up against P. verticillatum it will give off a lovely mint fragrance.
This plant will grow anywhere from 1-3' tall depending on site conditions. It will grow happily in dry-average conditions and full sun to part-sun. It will grow tallest in average soils and full sun.
