Mini-Meadow Lawn Patch Kit
 
Brand new and not to be available again year! Add to your existing lawn to improve it. Forget the non-native clover, add some tiny native plants and set your mower a little higher.  This kit supports butterflies, moths, and bees, among many other beneficial insects! Wild strawberry supports over 80 insect species, Violets and sedge both support well over 30 insect species.

Kit includes 25 native plugs (young small plants) that are highly beneficial to native pollinators. Kit includes between 4-6 species in PLUG SIZE. See photos 2, 3, and 4 for what a plug looks like. Buy multiple kits to fill a larger area (discounts applied at checkout for multiple orders).
 
Details:
Species may include*: Houstonia caerulea (bluets), Fragaria virginiana (wild strawberry), Sisyrinchium angustifolium (blue eyed grass), Viola sororia (blue wood violet), Prunella vulgaris (self-heal), Carex spp. (sedge species TBD), Junus tenuis (path rush). 
*We don't expect these species to change but if they do we still guarantee the bluets will be included (everyone's favorite).
 
Site Needs and Planting:
Part sun/Part shade to full sun and moist to average soil.
You can just plant these in your current lawn and set your mower height higher to allow blooms. There's no rule for spacing, you can space these closely or very far apart. Breaking up the monculture of lawn is the goal.
