A lovely native Iris, Northern blue-flag iris is a fine choice for a rain garden or alongside a pond.
These delicate looking flowering plants prefer wet feet, so plan on planting in areas that receive frequent water.
Iris versicolor attracts many bees and butterflies as well as hummingbirds and will add a showy splash of color to the landscape.
