Plant information

Do you have a patch of dry, rocky, sandy “soil” that has been giving you a tough time? Give Field Pussytoes a try!

Host plant for the American Painted Lady Butterfly caterpillar, this low, mat-forming perennial will grow delightfully fuzzy white flower heads along with wooly stems and leaves.

Ideal for rock gardens, it is drought tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant, and can tolerate part shade.
