Symphyotrichum pilosum (Aster ericoides)

frost aster

Symphyotrichum pilosum, frost aster, is a perennial that typically grows to a height of 1 to 3 feet. It produces small, white flowers with yellow centers that bloom from late summer into early fall.

This plant thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soils. It is an excellent choice for pollinator gardens, as it attracts a wide variety of pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and pollinating flies.
